WACO, Texas (KXXV) — At 95 years old, Evelyn Stephenson is adding a new title to her résumé: pageant winner.
The Waco resident was crowned the Diamond Divas Pageant winner in her age group, beating out fellow Asher Point Independent Living resident Linda Schrieber for the title.
Stephenson said she never saw the victory coming, but she's grateful for the experience, saying the pageant made her feel valued and even gave her one of the best days of her life.
