AXTELL, Texas (KXXV) — A friendly rivalry over food donations brought softball teams off the field in Axtell for the Cornucopia Clash: Tournament of Giving.
The competition, held November 22-23, challenges 26 softball teams to out-donate one another as part of a community food drive.
Players collected nearly 3,300 food items and more than $500 in cash donations. These items will be given to Helping Hands of Belton.
