LORENA, Texas (KXXV) — The Lorena Police Department is sharing a warning about snakes on the move.
First responders got a call Tuesday night about a small child who had been bitten by a copperhead snake.
The fire department provided medical care on scene, but the child was taken to a local facility for treatment.
Police remind residents to be extra cautious this time of year.
