The Bellmead Police Department identified the pedestrian killed Friday morning as 58-year-old Charles Davis.
Next of kin has been notified by investigators.
ORIGINAL 8/22:
The Bellmead Police Department is investigating a crash Friday morning involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Investigators say it happened around 5:30 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of North Loop 340.
The department reports the vehicle hit a man as he walked across the southbound road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are working to identify the victim.
