BELTON, Texas (KXXV) — A Belton police officer's vehicle was hit by a wrong-way, suspected drunk driver, the city said in a statement.
The city said the crash happened Monday night around 9:10 p.m. on Interstate 35 near South Loop when the officer was responding to a call of a motorist driving the wrong way on the interstate.
Paul Romer with the City of Belton says the officer does not appear to have any injuries from the collision.
