GROESBECK, TX — The City of Groesbeck Water Treatment Plant is temporarily changing disinfectant chemicals in the drinking water from Chloramines to Chlorine on Monday.
Residents may notice a slight chlorine smell in the water for this period of time.
This is a routine procedure the plant performs at least once each year to stay in compliance with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules and regulations.
Residents will be notified when it changes back to Chloramines.
