GATESVILLE, TX — The Gatesville Police Department is on the hunt for a forever family for one of their special shelter dogs.

Bean was hit by a car in October 2019, suffering a broken leg. Dr. Mabry of Coryell Veterinary Clinic kindly repaired his leg, however Beans is not doing so well with shelter life.

Beans is in desperate need of a home with an owner who is going to walk him often. He also needs a yard to run in for the physical therapy his leg needs.

Beans needs a high protein diet to rebuild his muscle and pack on some much needed weight.

The Gatesville Police Department says they are desperately searching for a home for him.
