MOODY, TX — Elm Creek Water Supply issued a boil water notice on Sunday after a water line break. The six inch break occurred on Liberty Hill Road in Moody.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requires Elm Creek Water Supply to issue a boil water alert for its customers on both sides of Liberty Hill Road, who live between our Liberty Hill water plant and the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

Water for drinking, cooking, and making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then continue to boil for two minutes.

In lieu of boiling, you may purchase bottled water, or obtain water from another suitable source.

When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, officials will notify you. Instructions to discontinue boiling will be issued in the same manner as this notice.

If you have any questions regarding this matter you may contact Elm Creek Water Supply Office at (254)853-3838.
