WESTPHALIA, TX — A community is selling t-shirts to raise money for a historic church that was destroyed in a fire Monday.
The Westphalia Strong t-shirts will be sold Saturday at the Westphalia Market Day. Youth sizes will cost $15, with adult sizes costing $20. There will also be a $2 charge for 2X and 3X sizes.
According to the Westphalia Market Day, 100% of the proceeds will go to the Church of Visitation.
The Church of the Visitation was engulfed in flames on Monday. The church was a historical marker and known to be one of the largest wooden church structures in the state.
