CLIFTON, TX — Clifton Police is warning people of an active scam involving a local Church.
They say a caller is reportedly claiming to be the Priest from Holy Angel's Catholic Church of Clifton.
The scammer is requesting gift cards to be purchased for a friend that is battling cancer.
Clifton Police say they have verified with the Priest and the calls are a scam.
"Please spread the word if your a member of this church or know members."
