CLIFTON, TX — The Clifton Police Department is filing criminal charges against at least two people and increasing patrol after receiving reports of a group of young people participating in a fight club in city parks.
Clifton PD says they recently received reports regarding a group of young people who have been participating in a fight club. According to the department, there have reportedly been a number of fights organized and conducted at a private residence and in city parks.
Clifton PD says they are currently investigating and will be filling criminal charges against at least two young men. Clifton PD says more charges could be filed in the future.
Clifton PD is increasing patrol of city park areas "effective immediately." A zero-tolerance policy will be practiced for violations of Texas law or city ordinance, according to the department. Violators will be cited or arrested on site, without exception.
