COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Chick-fil-A gave away free chicken for a year to the first 100 customers in line at the grand opening of their new location in College Station.
Tents and sleeping bags filled the parking lot overnight Thursday as eager customers waited to get free chicken cards.
The first Chic-fil-A in College Station opened four decades ago in the Post Oak Mall.
This will be the fifth location in College Station, and will bring 85 new jobs to the city.
The restaurant gave away the free chicken cards at 6 a.m. and officially opened for business at 6:30 a.m.
