COLLEGE STATION, TX — College Station Police have asked Brazos Valley Urgent Care to close down antibody testing due to traffic concerns, according to a post on Facebook.
Brazos Valley Urgent Care was offering antibody testing on Sunday on Texas Avenue near Harvey Mitchell Parkway.
The test would show if you have been exposed to COVID-19 and had an immune response, according to Brazos Valley Urgent Care. The event was also open to residents outside of Brazos County.
According to staff, the number of cars "was just too much," and there was concern about accidents and disrupting traffic for other drivers.
They are planning to reschedule at a time and location that can handle the response.
