COLLEGE STATION, TX — The College Station Police department says they rescued two women from prostitution.

Police say they received a call from a parent concerned their daughter was being forced to engage in prostitution.

Officers located a hotel room in the 600 block of Texas Ave. on March 26.

After investigation, two people were arrested for compelling prostitution.

According to police, the daughter and another female are receiving assistance.

Two Lubbock residents were arrested, 47-year-old Christopher Ryan Scott and 45-year-old Veronica Lee Willis.

Scott was also served with warrants for aggravated robbery from Tom Green County and one for parole violation.

Both were booked into the Brazos County Jail, according to police.

Police say the initial call was received at about 9:14 p.m, the hotel room was located at about 11 p.m. and the Criminal Investigations Division responded to assist.

Police say compelling prostitution occurs when a person knowingly (1) causes another by force, threat, or fraud to commit prostitution; or (2) causes by any means a child < 18 to commit prostitution, regardless of whether the actor knows the child’s age at the time of the offense.

The two females rescued from the scene are now receiving assistance.
