May is one of the most popular months for weddings in Texas.

But brides-to-be are frustrated there isn't a clear timeline for when venues can fully operate.

Rosie Robison dreamed of her late May wedding.

"This is supposed to be the happiest time of your life?" said KXXV Anchor Lindsay Liepman."I'm really stressed out because I had this planned since I was 12. I came up with every scenario. This was not on the agenda," said Rosie.

She's writing the governor for more clarity.

"We want to open as quickly as possible but as safely as possible," said Governor Greg Abbott in a news conference Monday.

Which means technically, the church and reception venue can host, but guests should wear face coverings and remain six feet apart.

Restaurants are only allowed six people per table starting May 1st and for now, only at 25% capacity.

"I would ideally want to do at least 50 people and having the experience is what I really want," said Rosie.

A full refund isn't an option either.

"Almost none of my vendors will refund the money. They can reschedule but they can't refund anything and we'll lose everything," said Rosie.

Rosie says all brides-to-be are in the same boat, but they're weathering this storm together.
