Madison Myers serves as the Neighborhood Reporter for the Gatesville, McGregor, and Marlin areas.
Madison was born in Dallas, Texas. She grew up in Rowlett, Texas where she graduated from Rowlett High School in 2020.
Madison attended the University of North Texas where she spent most of her time involved with student organizations such as North Texas Television and The National Association of Black Journalists. She graduated with her Broadcast Journalism degree in the fall of 2023.
During Madison’s free time she loves traveling with her family and spending time with her dog Dallas! She also enjoys watching sports and cheering on her favorite team the Dallas Cowboys.
Madison’s passion for journalism started when she was a little girl. She enjoyed sitting on the couch watching the news with her grandfather and soon became eager to become a journalist. She loves telling stories for those in the community who may not feel like they have a voice.
