UPDATE 3/12/26 3:19 p.m.:
The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Christopher Gillespey.
Killeen police say the victim was inside his residence when he was shot and exited the home, where he collapsed outside.
Detectives are asking residents and businesses in the area to review their surveillance cameras for any individuals in the vicinity around the time of the shooting.
Police ask anyone with information or video to submit evidence by contacting the Killeen Police Department at 254-501-8800.

UPDATE:
Police on the scene tell 25 News a man's body was found outside a home in the 1700 block of North Gray Street. Paramedics say he had a gunshot wound and was dead when they arrived on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Killeen police are asking the public to avoid the 1700 block of North Gray Street, as officers work a death investigation.
