On Nov. 5 2018, Connally ISD Administration learned of alleged inappropriate conduct of John Simpson, an Assistant Principal at the Connally Jr. High.

The conduct consisted of sending inappropriate electronic messages to other Connally ISD school employees and exposing his penis to a female teacher while self-gratifying himself in front of her.

According to the law firm representing the school district, Simpson was placed on administrative leave and removed from campus.

A formal investigation ensued, and Simpson resigned from employment on Nov. 30. An investigation by the Central Texas News Now team also followed.

Central Texas News Now wanted to know how many other school districts in Central Texas had similar incidents.

We reached out to 25 other school districts requesting information on how many times in the last five years there were serious allegations of a teacher having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a student, or a fellow teacher/employee.

The following schools had allegations of sexual misconduct that warranted an investigation.
