Waco man, friends create Whataburger rap about being sold to Chicago

WACO, TX — A Waco man and his friends expressed their feelings on the Whataburger sale to a investment firm in Chicago, in song.

At the beginning of the music video it says, "In 1950, one of the greatest historic events happened in America: Whataburger opened. In June 2019, Whataburger sold to a bank in Chicago, Texas has something to say about it."

Matt Upshaw and his friends Harrison Hughes, Cooper Bascom and Peyton Penuel created the music video "Dear Whataburger" and released it at 5 p.m. on Friday.

The video already has over 49,000 views.
