They said that Trevor Rowe, 27, was not the child's father, but was dating his mother. The child's name was Marion Jester-Montoya.

The warrant for his arrest said that he stuffed the child in the backpack and left her in the floorboard of his car when he went to his job site.

At some point, he discovered that she got out of the backpack, and he stuffed her back in. She was crying and breathing at this time.

Rowe went to get fast food and went to two other stores - while baby Marion sat stuffed in the backpack.

Just before 5 p.m., he discovered she was not breathing.

Rowe is in the Lubbock County Jail with a $2 mill
