ARLINGTON, TX — Three children reported missing in 2017 from Saline County Missouri have been found in Texas.
Shawn Rodriguez, the children's mother, abducted the children on Oct. 28, 2017 and fled the county. A felony warrant was issued for kidnapping for Rodriguez on Aug. 6, 2019.
The father of the three children was granted full custody in 2019, and the children were then officially listed as missing in July 2019, according to KCTV5.
Shortly thereafter in August, authorities issued a warrant for Shawn Rodriguez.
According to KCTV5, the three children were found at a home in Arlington, Texas on Thursday, Oct. 17. The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services are taking care of the children while they await being reunited with their father.
The three children, one girl and two boys, are three, six, and nine-years-old.
