A 170 pound alligator gar was caught in Lake Texoma.
According to the Oklahoma Game Wardens, angler Zachary Sutterfield of Durant, Oklahoma, harvested the 6'9 gar.
The alligator gar was a prehistoric fish, according to game wardens.
Sutterfield allowed the ODWC to come and gather data from the gar for research.
