A sampling of mosquitoes in Williamson County have tested positive for West Nile virus for a third time this year.
A sampling of mosquitoes taken at a trap near the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park tested positive for West Nile Virus, according to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
The Williamson County and Cities Health District will set up two additional trap sites near the park to expand testing in the area.
Everyone is encouraged to remain vigilant and protect themselves from mosquito bites.
Residents should also try to prevent mosquito breeding on their personal property.
You can protect yourself from mosquitoes by draining standing water, using EPA-approved insect repellent and covering up when being outdoors.
