SAN ANTONIO — A photo is going viral of a San Antonio officer and a man talking to each other.
When you first glace at the photo, it might be hard to understand why it has over 40,000 shares. However, when you read the message, you understand why it warmed the hearts of thousands.
This photo was posted by Marque Scahill, and in the caption, she details what is happening in the photo.
The man sitting across from the officer told him, “I’ll be honest with you, I’m a troublemaker.. I hate the cops. But I really need someone to talk to.”
The man had recently lost his brother in a shooting, so her partner sat down with him and listened to him as he cried.
Scahill ends the post with, "This is policing. Sometimes it’s foot chases and cool stories to tell all your friends. Sometimes it’s boring. Sometimes it’s this."
