FORT WORTH, TX — A former Fort Worth police officer who shot and killed a woman inside her own home during a welfare check has been indicted for murder on Friday.
According to online records, Aaron York Dean was arrested for murder in October.
Aaron Dean is accused of shooting and killing 28-year-old Atatiana Koquice Jefferson through her window early Saturday morning while responding for a welfare check. In the video captured on Dean's body camera, the officer did not identify himself before shooting.
