SAN ANTONIO, TX — Fiesta San Antonio has officially been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The celebration, which normally takes place in the spring, had been rescheduled to November after San Antonio and the state experienced spikes in coronavirus cases.
However, recent spikes in cases has forced organizers to cancel the event altogether.
Fiesta San Antonio is expected to make its return April 15 through April 25, 2021.
This is the first time the celebration has not gone on since World War II.
