CENTRAL TEXAS — Crowdsource Rescue has started efforts in connecting people during the COVID-19 pandemic.

CrowdSource Rescue is a Houston-based non-profit and public-safety grade platform that uses next-generation technology to quickly connect both professional first-responders and vetted volunteers with response cases immediately before, during, and immediately after a disaster.

Crowdsource Rescue was originally started in response to helping people at risk during Hurricane Harvey,

The volunteer-based site connects people who need help to people who want to help.

Crowdsource Rescue stresses that if participating, your safety is not guaranteed.

A questionnaire and legal agreement is also necessary to participate.
