GATESVILLE, TX — On April 18, 2020, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the public water system Gatesville Regional Water System to issue a boil water notice for customers on North Lutterloh from Waco St. to Depot street.

The boil water notice was originally issued due to the presence of contaminants or disruption in service and must be boiled before consumption.

The Gatesville Regional Water System has since taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality with testing results that indicate the water no longer needs to be boiled as of April 19, 2020.
