WACO, TX — Waco Transit is offering their Free Fare Day on Saturday.
Just in time for tax-free weekend, Waco Transit wanted to give an opportunity to families so they can have the most of the tax holiday.
All fixed bus routes will be free all day Saturday. This lets parents save gas money and help the environment by reducing emissions on the road.

This year, tax-free weekend will start August 9 and run through August 11. This is a time for parents and teachers to stock up on school supplies with some items exempt from additional taxes.
If you are ordering online, shipping and fees will still apply and items you bought before or after the tax holiday do not qualify.
