Waco police investigating armed robbery at Richard Karr Motors

WACO, TX — Just before 7 AM, Waco Police received a call about a robbery in progress at Richard Karr Motors.

Three males suspects, who police say were wearing facemasks, fled the scene in a white pickup truck with no tail bed before officers arrived on the scene. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Nolanville.

The suspects were armed with pistols at the time of the robbery, according to police. Purses and cellphones were reported stolen and no injuries have been reported.

A short time after, as officers were gathering information from the multiple victims, information about a possible location of the suspect vehicle starting coming in, according to Waco Police Officer Garen Bynum.

Officers then responded to that area and located the suspect truck, a white Ford F250, near Jessup Housing after it had been left crashed and abandoned.

Officers were able to secure the vehicle, but the suspects were not located.

"There were multiple victims in this case, including both customers and employees," Bynum said. "Thankfully, no physical injuries were reported, but this was a violent crime that will leave scars none the less."
