WACO, TX — On Friday, October 2nd, 2020 shortly after 9 pm, Waco officers were sent to the Discount Tobacco Outlet in the 1900 blk of Park Lake Dr. in reference to an Armed Aggravated Robbery.

After officers arrived, they learned that 2 males dressed in black entered the store, one being armed with a handgun, and demanded cash. Both suspects were approximately 6 feet tall.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash from the store, both suspects fled on foot away from the store. The suspect description in this matches the description from a previous robbery, but it is unknown if the 2 are connected. No injuries were reported during this robbery.

Then, early Friday morning, just after midnight, Waco officers were sent to the 2200 blk of Mitchell Ave. after a caller stated her house had been shot at.

After officers arrived, they located shell casings on the ground and multiple places where bullets had struck the callers house. No injuries were reported during this incident. There is no suspect information or any other information available for this incident.

Then, early Saturday morning shortly before 3 am, Waco officers were sent to the area of N. 10th and Colcord Ave. for a Shots Fired call.

While in route to the area, officers learned that 2 males were chasing, running through the neighborhood, while at least one of the males was shooting at the other male.

Officers did locate evidence in the area that the crime had actually occurred, but was not able to locate either male involved in the incident.

There is no suspect information available for this call at this time.

Finally, on Sunday morning at about 9:15 am, Waco PD officers were sent to 1500 Bosque Blvd to the J&M Food Mart on a robbery that had just occurred.

This robbery was similar to others in the recent past, where 2 males entered the store wearing all black. Demanded money from the store clerk while one of the suspects displayed a handgun, and then fled out of the store on foot.

There were no injuries reported in this robbery and the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. It is once again unknown at this time if this robbery is connected to previous robberies.
