WACO, TX — Police are searching for two suspects after a man was shot in the neck while sitting in his car on Wednesday night in Waco.
At 11:40 p.m., Waco PD responded to the shooting at 5100 Hawthorne where they discovered the victim.
After investigating, police said the victim, 28-year-old William Akeem Smith, was shot in his neck while sitting in his car and suffered a paralyzing gunshot wound.
Police describe the suspects as one light-skinned black male and one dark-skinned black male.
Police say the victim was taken to a local hospital and admitted.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is on-going.
