WACO, TX — The Waco Police Department arrested a man with outstanding warrants after a brief foot chase.
Waco officers say they received a call about a suspicious person that was seen checking peoples' car door handles around N 29th St and Mitchell Ave on Feb. 14.
When officers got to the area, they located a person matching the description given to them, and attempted to stop the man.
Police say the suspect was arrested after a brief foot chase around N 33rd and Wenz Ave.
18-year-old Jack James Whitaker was arrested for outstanding warrants through Waco PD, 3 for burglary of a motor vehicle, 1 for theft of a firearm, and 1 for evading arrest or detention.
