WACO, TX — Waco-McLennan County Public Health Director Brenda Gray is "no longer employed" by the City of Waco.
A spokesman for the City of Waco confirmed the information for 25 News on Tuesday.
Dr. Gray has been the Director of Public Health for the City of Waco since 2019.
This comes as McLennan County has a reported 3,472 total COVID-19 cases, with an estimated 1,503 cases currently active. Twenty-four people have died and 77 are hospitalized.
