WACO, TX — A Waco man was found guilty of capital murder on Thursday. He was convicted for killing two cousins in 2014.

He will spend life in prison without parole.

Tony Olivarez was arrested in 2014 on charges of aggravated assault and was charged with capital murder.

On May 13, 2014, police responded to the 2600 block of Grim Avenue where they found Justin and Ulysses Gonzalez dead.

Three days later, Todric Deon McDonald, was arrested and charged with capital murder after a brief vehicle chase.

In late May 2014, Olivarez was arrested, but in connection to an aggravated assault.

He and McDonald are also accused of firing shots during that aggravated assault inside a home in the 2300 block of Morrow just five hours before the double murder.
