WACO, TX — The Waco ISD Board of Trustees is set to hold a special meeting and will likely select a superintendent.
Dr. Marcus Nelson resigned from his position as superintendent in March. That came after he was arrested in Robertson County for marijuana possession.
Since then, former president Pat Atkins and former trustee Larry Perez also resigned from their positions. Both board members resigned within one week of each other.
