WACO, TX — Two Waco River Safari employees reportedly saved a woman from drowning in the Brazos River Monday night.

The company said the woman was in the river under the Herring Avenue bridge when Captain Austin and soon-to-be Captain Thomas spotted her. It is not known whether the woman fell or jumped into the river.

The boat was maneuvered close to the woman, and Thomas jumped into the river with life jackets.

The company shared a picture of the rescue on its Facebook page.
