WACO, TX — Two porch pirates were arrested on Wednesday in Waco.
Waco police said that Michael Gibson and Ellie Taylor are in the McLennan County Jail for stealing packages earlier this month. Packages were removed from porches delivered by USPS in the 2700 block of Austin Ave. and the 4900 block of Ridgeview Dr.
Police were able to identify Taylor and Gibson from home surveillance video.
They were charged with theft of mail, and Gibson faces an addition charge of burglary of a habitation.
Taylor is being held $2,000 worth of bonds, and Gibson is being held on $10,000 worth of bonds.
