WACO, TX — Two employees at the Academy for Creative Learning have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a letter sent home to parents.
The childcare center said the two employees tested positive on Saturday, June 13. Both employees were given a rapid test on Thursday, June 11, and tested negative.
The Academy for Creative Learning said both employees are asymptomatic.
Both employees worked with the SA group in the summer camp program. One has not been at the center since Tuesday, June 9 due to scheduled time off. The other employee was present Friday afternoon.
The ACL said it will "stay on course" and continue routine cleaning and disinfection procedures. The building was also professionally sanitized over the weekend.
