MCLENNAN COUNTY — Waco Police responded to a crash at the intersection of New Road and the I-35.
The call came in around 2:30 a.m. - according to Waco PD a white truck ran a red light, slamming head on into an 18-wheeler as it turned onto New Road.
Two people were in the car at the time - ambulances were on the scene and police say injuries were involved.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the crash.
Police say alcohol may have been involved - Waco PD are investigating the incident.
