WACO, TX — Topgolf has confirmed its interest in exploring a potential new location in the Waco area.

"We are currently exploring potential expansion in Waco for a local Topgolf experience," says a Topgolf spokesperson.

Topgolf, a well-known entertainment venue, offers food and drinks, music and fun, and features dozens of climate-controlled hitting bays "for year-round comfort." They offer HDTVs in every bay and throughout its sports bars and restaurants.

Not only is Topgolf a destination for fun and sports, but also socializing and good eating, with locations featuring an Executive Chef as part of the team, says the company.

The area of interest being explored in Waco is within the recently announced Cottonwood Creek Market, a 143-acre mixed-use site near Central Texas Marketplace at the intersection of I-35 and Loop 340/Highway 6.

New entertainment options planned for the area also were slated to include a Cinemark Theater. To the left of theater is the location where a new Topgolf site could be located in the near future.

The Cottonwood Creek Market not only has plans for more entertainment and retail options in Waco, but also for additional multifamily living units and office spaces.

The area has seen a 27 percent population growth within a three-mile radius since 2010, making it even more attractive to developers.

The site would include 285,000 square feet of retail and 63 acres dedicated to the multifamily and office developments.
