WACO, TX — Tim McGraw is planning a visit to Waco this summer.
The Country music superstar will be at the Magnolia Market and Silos as part of his seven-city tour to promote his upcoming book. This will be the only stop in Texas.
McGraw will be accompanied by Pulitzer-Price winner Jon Meacham as they speak on their book “Songs of America: Patriotism, Protest and the Music that Made a Nation.”
The book is described as a celebration of America and the music that has inspired its citizens.
On June 21, McGraw and Meacham will give an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at what went into creating the book and their friendship as they combine their different perspectives as writer and artist to create a unique view of the role music has played in uniting and shaping the nation.
Presales for the tour will begin April 17 at 12 p.m. General ticket sales begin April 19. Click here for more information on the book and ticket sales.
