WACO, TX — A Tennyson Middle School teacher resigned after a video shows him picking up a desk, with a student still in it, and placed the desk outside the classroom.
Waco ISD spokesperson Kyle DeBeer said what the video shows is "completely unacceptable."
He said the incident happened late Wednesday and the teacher, Daniel Murany, was placed on administrative leave. The teacher then resigned Friday afternoon.
The campus has been in contact with the student's family to make sure he is OK.
