ROBINSON, TX — The Robinson Lions Club Pool is in need of some repairs to stay open in future years.
The pool is currently open for the summer, but future years may be in question if they are not able to raise enough for all the repairs needed.
Each Friday during the summer, the Little Rockets Daycare in Robinson goes to the pool as a way for the kids to stay cool.
The daycare has donated $500 to the pool and is challenging other businesses in the community to donate as well.
If the pool was not available, the kids that swim there would be those most affected.
The pool is looking to replace the high dive stand and tarp to cover the pool, as well as the coping, or cap, that is around the outer edge of the pool.
The estimate for these repairs is about $50,000.
