WACO, TX — Waco police cleared out a homeless camp located along New Road and Franklin on Wednesday morning.
Members of the camp were notified several days in advance that police would be coming to clear the area, said officials.
The camp was located on private property, and police say they had received multiple complaints about increases in crime in the area and health hazards the camp was creating.
One person was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Police also said they hauled off a trailer and half full of trash from the area.
