MCGREGOR, TX — McGregor police have identified the suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run.
Police have identified her as 23-year-old Bailey Carlson. She was arrested by Temple police on Thursday with a warrant for her arrest out of McGregor.
She is from Belton. She has been charged with failing to stop and render aid.
Police said that Kayn Kemp, 26, was hit and killed as he walked on the shoulder of the 2100 block of S. SH 317 on June 6. It happened just before 10 p.m.
A vehicle traveling northbound swerved onto the shoulder of the road and hit Kemp. Kemp died at the scene, according to police.
Police said they believed the vehicle is a 2005-2008 Ford F-150, white. The vehicle would have had damage to the front, right portion of the truck.
Carlson bonded out of the Bell County Jail Friday night.
