WACO, TX — Over 30 Waco ISD families who have recently completed the district’s Parents as Teachers program will be celebrated with a staff-led parade at their homes.
The event will take place this Tuesday and Wednesday, May 26 and 27, starting at 10 am. However, parade setup begins at 9 am on both days.
The parade begins at the North Waco Annex at 2015 Alexander Ave. in Waco.
Waco ISD Parents As Teachers and early childhood department staff, along with Junior League of Waco members, will parade to 36 homes to deliver ‘From PAT to Pre-K’ certificates, summer learning materials and pre-kindergarten backpacks to families.
Children will be celebrated for completing the PAT program and making the transition into prekindergarten.
