WACO, TX — McLennan Community College says it will continue to offer classes in hybrid and online formats for the spring semester.

Students and faculty returned to campus on Monday following winter break. The spring semester is expected to begin January 11.

The college says guidelines that were established before the start of the Fall 2020 semester will remain in place for the foreseeable future. That includes smaller class sizes, face covering and social distancing requirements as well as increased cleaning procedures.

MCC will continue offering classes in blended/hybrid and online formats along with some traditional face-to-face skills-based classes. Students in hybrid classes will learn in a traditional classroom setting as well as an online format through videoconferencing.

Campus computer labs will remain open to support students' technology needs. Most services will be offered through online and in-person formats.
