WOODWAY, TX — A 28-year-old McGregor man was arrested today for online solicitation of a minor, a second degree felony.
On October 6, Woodway Public Safety Department officers arrested 28 year old Christopher Wayne Valmores of McGregor for online solicitation of a minor, a second degree felony.
On October 2, Valmores messaged a social media account depicting a young female, according to WPSD.
Valmores was informed the female was 16 years of age and acknowledged her age could get him in trouble.
The McGregor man continued to message the female over the course of four days and spoke in a sexually explicit manner, according to WPSD.
He described in detail sexual acts he would like to perform with her and also sent several graphic photographs.
Valmores agreed to meet the underage female for the purposes of having sex at a location in Woodway.
Valmores arrived at the location and was taken into custody in the 9100 Blk of N. Woodway Dr. when he arrived.
He was placed in the McLennan County Jail where he is awaiting bond.
