WACO, TX — Waco Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot twice during a possible robbery Sunday morning.
Officers responded around 5:40 AM to the 1800 block of Seneca Avenue where they found a 20-year-old man shot twice in the chest.
Doctors say it was with a small caliber weapon, according to Waco Police Officer Garen Bynum.
He is expected to recover but is in the hospital.
The man told police he was being robbed when he was shot.
Waco Police say they are searching for the suspect and the case is ongoing.
